Job Title: ASD Experienced Teaching Assistant (B45)
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a mainstream school (B45). This exciting role offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils aged 3-11 years old who have a range of special educational needs. Key Details: • Position: SEND Teaching Assistant • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM • Daily Pay: Starting from £89 (depending on experience) • Term-Time Only The Role: • Work closely with children with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD and ADHD. • Provide 1:1 support and assist in small group settings to promote inclusion. • Help students with their academic, social, and emotional development. • Support children with different learning styles and ensure they are given every opportunity to succeed. • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Ideal Candidate: • Previous experience working with children with SEND, especially those with ASD and ADHD. • A patient, calm, and empathetic approach to supporting students. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. • A passion for helping children with special needs reach their full potential. • Experience in a school setting is essential.
