Job Title: Class Teacher – SEND Hub – Birmingham B34
Class Teacher – SEND Hub Location: Birmingham, B34 Hours: Full Time, 8:00am – 3:15pm Contract: Long Term Axcis Education are recruiting for a full-time Class Teacher to join a mainstream primary school with a dedicated SEND hub in the B34 area of Birmingham. The school has a specialist SEND provision supporting pupils with high and complex needs. The hub currently has two classes of around 10 children, with a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and enjoys working with children who require a high level of individualised support. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons, while working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team to ensure pupils are supported to make progress both academically and personally. The role would suit someone who is: • QTS qualified • Experienced working with primary-aged children • Passionate about SEND and inclusive education • Confident supporting children with ASD and complex needs • Able to adapt lessons to meet a wide range of individual needs • Calm, patient and consistent in their approach • A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively with support staff • Committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment Previous experience working within a SEND hub, specialist provision or with children with complex needs would be highly desirable.
