Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for pupils, delivering the national curriculum with high expectations for achievement and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across core and foundation subjects.
• Assess, record, and report on pupil progress; adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Manage classroom behaviour, fostering mutual respect and a positive learning culture.
• Contribute to whole-school initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development programmes.
• Maintain accurate records, attendance, and safeguarding documentation.
• Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2?years of experience teaching in a mainstream primary or secondary setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and current educational best practice.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
Desirable Attributes
• Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusion strategies.
• Proficiency in digital learning tools and online platforms.
• Additional certifications (e.g., SEND, ESOL).
