We are looking for an empathetic and experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Sutton, London. Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored support to children with various complex needs, including physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties. • Assist with the development and implementation of individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). • Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment. • Utilize adaptive technologies and customized resources to enhance pupil engagement and participation. • Facilitate small group and 1:1 sessions to reinforce learning and promote social skills. • Monitor and report on pupils' progress, adapting approaches to meet their evolving needs. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, SENCO, and external agencies, to align support strategies. Qualifications: • Relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. • Prior experience working with children with complex needs. • Proficient in using assistive technology and communication aids. • Understanding of safeguarding practices and commitment to child welfare.
