Start Date: Immediate
Working Hours: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM (Term Time)
Location: NW10
Pay: £83.40 – £90 per day (PAYE), depending on experience
Axcis Education is looking for compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive learning environment. This exciting opportunity allows you to work with students with diverse additional needs, providing essential support in both mainstream and specialist SEND settings. Your contribution will help students excel academically and socially, making a lasting positive impact on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students aged 16+ with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
• Assist students in both mainstream classrooms and specialist SEND settings, supporting their academic and social development.
• Engage with structured learning programmes aimed at helping students with learning difficulties progress.
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive educational environment.
What We’re Looking For:
• Caring and committed individuals who are passionate about supporting students with additional needs.
• Experience in SEND settings is preferred but not essential.
• Both day-to-day and long-term roles available, during term time.
• A proactive and empathetic approach to working with students of diverse needs.
